West tower was built in 1885 as family home and is now dedicated entirely to weddings.

The bridal suite is gorgeous with a four poster bed, original fireplace and roll top bath.
There are also lots of gorgeous places for your photographer to get lovely pictures of your day.
West Tower also provide a room for getting ready (if you don't want everyone trashing your bridal suite) which is where the bridal prep took place on the morning of Jenny's wedding.
It was a busy morning with hair and makeup. I had the bride to makeup along with 4 bridesmaids and a flower girl but I did have a little help from local makeup artist Jenny Clayton who very kindly helped me with makeup for one of the girls. This particular venue doesn't allow the bride and suppliers into the venue to start getting ready until 8am so this is something to keep in mind if you are thinking of getting married here. If you have a large wedding party and an early ceremony you may have to think about having two hairdressers and makeup artists to work through everyone in time.
Judith Ainsworth was in charge of hair along with her assistant and they both did a lovely job of making everyone look gorgeous.
