I recently had the pleasure of providing bridal makeup at Stanley House Hotel & Spa in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire for Laura’s wedding day.
Set within 54 acres of countryside, Stanley House Hotel & Spa is a beautiful 17th-century manor house and a stunning location for a wedding morning. The spacious getting-ready rooms and natural light make it ideal for soft, flawless bridal makeup that photographs beautifully.

Wedding Morning Preparations at Stanley House
I arrived at 7am to begin preparations for the bride, bridesmaids and mums. The bridal party wore elegant green dresses and Laura looked stunning in her lace gown.
Airbrush Bridal Makeup for a Summer Wedding As it was a warm summer day, I created a long-lasting, lightweight finish using professional airbrush bridal makeup. This technique works perfectly for weddings at Stanley House Hotel & Spa because it provides a natural, comfortable feel while staying fresh throughout the ceremony and evening celebrations. I added a subtle glow using Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter beneath the foundation to enhance the skin without looking heavy. The bridal party all chose soft, natural makeup to complement the relaxed countryside setting, creating a timeless look that suited both the venue and the photography style.
Here's the girls looking fabulous and ready to walk their bestie Laura down the aisle.
