As the world is slowly recovering from this awful pandemic I am very much looking forward to getting back to work.
I realise this has been a very tough time for the wedding industry and the brides not knowing if their wedding is able to go ahead or not.
It has also been very difficult time for freelance makeup artists as this should be our busiest time of year now and we are still uncertain of when we will be able to return to work.
I have a lot of hopeful brides still booked in for August and September so fingers crossed for everyone.
I really don’t know when weddings will be allowed to go ahead but as soon as it is safe to do so I will be there to help you all look your very best on your special day.

I would like to reassure everyone of the safety measures that I will be putting into place to make sure I can keep you all safe. Some of these safety measure such as sanitising brushes and makeup products have always been in place but there are a few extra ones here to make sure you all stay as safe as possible.

Bridal Makeup Trials will be limited to one person – please don’t bring friends or family with you to your trial appointment (unless they are also booked in for a trial).
We want to limit the number of people coming into the studio to make it a safe environment for you and others.

All surfaces will be disinfected before and after each client leaves the studio using antibacterial spray and wipes.

Each client will be asked to wash their hands before we start our consultation.

I will wear a face mask whilst working, my hands will be washed before and after each client.

Disposable brushes will be used as much as possible – if disposable brushes can’t be used, then brushes will be washed and sanitised after each client using 70% isopropyl alcohol to kill any germs.

All makeup products will be sanitised after each use.

All lip pencils and eye pencils will be sharpened before use to remove the outer layer that may have been exposed to bacteria. They will also be disinfected after each use.

Before each appointment I will call or email each client to see if they are showing any signs or symptoms of covid.
If they are they will be asked to reschedule their appointment for a later date.
Anyone turning up showing any flu like symptoms will be refused services.
Please make sure you reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell to prevent any cancellation fees.

On the day of the wedding I ask that there is a room provided for me to work safely without other people or family members entering the room.

I  understand these measures are pretty strict but they are all in place to keep you safe.

I hope to be back soon, in the meantime take care everyone and stay safe xxx
