Samlesbury Hall – A beautiful winter wedding.
I am delighted to share these beautiful images with you from Maggie & Mikes winter wedding at Samlesbury hall.
Maggie & Mike got married last December just after Christmas.
Maggie chose to get ready at home along with her Mother and 2 Bridesmaids.
I really enjoyed doing the makeup for Maggie, she didn’t want the classic natural bridal look she wanted a bit more of a bold statement look with fluttery lashes and a dark red lip. I think she looks absolutley gorgeous.
There was a very Celtic theme to the wedding with the guys wearing kilts, I think Maggie chose the perfect venue to go with her theme.
Her photographer for the day was Andy Wade Photography, he is responsible for these stunning images.
Samlesbury Hall is a warm and welcoming, privately owned, exclusive wedding venue in the heart of rural Lancashire.
For over seven decades, they have enjoyed hosting weddings – it’s what they do best.
Their immediate grounds are private and provide photographers with plenty of beautiful backdrops, including sweeping lawns, stone steps, marquee and festoon-lit tennis lawn, rosarium and ancient woodland.
The Whittaker Room is the perfect romantic setting for a ceremony and their 700 year old Great Hall is the most atmospheric room in Lancashire for your delicious wedding breakfast.
Their Italian courtyard is the best spot for relaxing during your evening reception, especially when they have their wood fired pizza oven and street food shack fired up and cooking tasty food for your guests.
The front lawn is often the setting for garden games to keep guests entertained all day.
Not forgetting of course, the best and quirkiest wedding accommodation in the UK.
