The Wellbeing Farm Wedding Venue.
If you are looking for a fun, quirky and unique wedding venue with llamas, alpacas and donkeys then you really need to check out The Wellbeing Farm in Lancashire.
This is where local lass Rachel got married to her hubby Kevin last September. Kevin has a strong background in farming so what better place for them to celebrate their wedding vows.
The main Wedding Barn at the Wellbeing Farm is fully licensed for weddings and has a stunning ceiling lined with silky parachutes and decorated with 4000 fairy lights in star formations, creating a stunning first impression for your guests.
There’s lot of indoor and outdoor games available to entertain the children and they even have their own Punch and Judy show.
Rachels bridal party was made up with herself the bride, 3 bridesmaids and her Mother.
Rachel and her bridal party stayed at the Wrighton Hotel the night before the wedding and this is where we did bridal prep on the morning of the wedding.
As this was an early than usual wedding I took one of my trusted assistants along with me to help get the ladies ready. I think we had to have everyone ready by 9.30am so rather than starting at the crack of dawn it can sometimes work out better for everyone to have 2 makeup artists on the day.
I am always happy to advise on this and I can often organise an extra artist for the day.
I don’t think anyone enjoys getting up extra early, especially when there is a long day ahead.
As Rachel doesn’t usually wear makeup she wanted to keep her bridal makeup as natural as possible.
I used the flawless filter foundation on Rachel which gives a lovely natural finish, we used soft caramel shades on the eyes, lots of mascara, a touch of bronzer and pink blush and finished off with a soft pink lip. Rachel decided against lashes as she is naturally blessed with beautiful long lashes.
Rachel chose Martyn Hand photography to capture her special day.
Martyn is a modern, creative and Award-Winning Yorkshire wedding photographer.
I love the confetti shots that he captured above.
The bride and groom were blessed with beautiful weather on the day of their wedding.
The Wellbeing Farm can also host weddings inside their wedding barn should it be raining.
